The University of Texas at Arlington, second largest component
in The University of Texas System, is located on a modern
390 acre campus in the center of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.
UTA is a comprehensive educational and research university
offering 56 undergraduate, 60 masters and 19 doctoral degrees
within nine academic units: architecture, business, engineering,
liberal arts, nursing, science, social work, teacher education,
and urban and public affairs. The 20,000 students come from
45 states and 80 countries. The ideal location offers a
broad range of cultural and recreational opportunities.
Faculty are involved in exchanges and collaborative research
projects with colleagues from Albania, Australia, Austria,
Canada, China, England, France, Germany, Ghana, Greece,
Guatemala, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Latvia,
Mexico, Morocco, Norway, Poland, Taiwan, Thailand, Russia,
South Africa, Spain, Sweden and Vietnam in the areas of
Anthropology, Architecture, Biology, Business, Chemistry,
