Located in the heart of East Texas, midway between Dallas, Texas, and the Louisiana state border is The University of Texas at Tyler with a city population of 75,000. As an upper-level and graduate component of The University of Texas System, this educational institution offers 37 bachelors degrees and 15 masters degrees under the Schools of Business Administration, Education and Psychology, Liberal Arts, and Sciences and Mathematics with two to five departments within each school. UTT serves 4,100 students. The University maintains formal agreements with the Inter-University Center in Yugoslavia and the University of Metz, France, and informal working arrangements with the University of Hamburg, Germany, and Jordanhill College, Scotland.
